Hiren's Boot CD es un Live CD (cd autónomo que se puede utilizarsin necesidad de instalarlo) que contiene varios programas dediagnóstico, así como de particionamiento, herramientas para medir elrendimiento del sistema, software de clonación de disco, herramientasde recuperación de datos, utilitarios para la MBR y la BIOS, y muchosotros programas para reparar variados problemas del computador. Como esun CD booteable, es posible usarlo incluso si el sistema operativo nopudiera ser iniciado.
